Due to the nature of this work, no — we use your water, run through water efficient cleaning systems that purify it so it does not leave streaks on your panels or your roof. All we need is access to an outdoor tap.
Enough to be worth cleaning, but we will not put a figure on it. How much you lose depends on how heavy the build-up is, and output also varies with shading, weather, panel age and electrical condition. Cleaning helps where visible build-up is blocking the glass — we would rather tell you that honestly than quote a percentage we cannot stand behind.
We use 304-grade stainless-steel mesh. It is a corrosion-resistant stainless grade, so it holds up to South East Queensland heat, rain and humidity instead of going brittle like plastic or rusting out and streaking your roof.
No. Cleaning may help support solar output where visible build up is present, but output can vary depending on weather, shading, system age and electrical condition.
We include visible observations in your service report and recommend the relevant professional where needed.
Not always. If we have safe access to the property, an outdoor tap and any required instructions, we can complete the service and send photos afterwards.
